WDWNT is reporting<\/a> that Disneyland Paris Cast Members shared insights into a new nighttime show that will debut in 2019 on Lake Disney.\u00a0This new nighttime spectacular would replace Disney Illuminations in slower seasons and give Disney the opportunity to close the parks earlier.<\/p>\n The same sources have been concept art and shared that\u00a0the new show \u201clooks like Rivers of Light with similar boats, flowers, and water projection screens, but with familiar Disney characters\u201d taking the spotlight over wild animals. The show would have 4 viewing areas, some paid and some non-paid, with a special area reserved for Disneyland Paris annual pass holders.<\/p>\n One of the reasons to bring the show to Lake Disney is to bring more foot traffic to Disney Villages. Several bars and stores are open until midnight, and this could bring in some more revenue for them.<\/p>\n Several times a year Lake Disney is already host to its own nighttime shows.
