Tickets for Shanghai Disneyland are available through the official website and at the park itself. Shanghai Disneyland offers a 1-day or a 2-day ticket.
Ticket prices depend on the forecasted crowd levels that day. Ticket prices depend on the height of the guest. Heights are grouped as followed:
- Child – 1 to 1.4 meters
- General Admission – 1.4 meters and taller
- Senior – Ages 65+
- Guests with a length up to 1 meter have free entrance
Tickets are only valid for the selected day. When a 2-day ticket is purchased, the ticket is only valid on the selected date and the following day.

Identification to enter the park
It is common practice that you will be asked for a government issued ID to enter the park. We didn’t need this when we visited Shanghai Disneyland, but we have been told by other visitors that this was necessary. As lines at security and entry can be really long, it is advisable to bring some kind of identification.
Photo for re-entry
A Cast Member at the entrance might take a photo when you hold a 2-day ticket to ensure that the ticket is not transferred to another guest.
Tickets with hotel reservation at Shanghai Disney Resort
When you are staying at a Shanghai Disney Resort Hotel, tickets might be included in your package. Make sure you check this prior to arrival and when you are calculating whether it is cheaper to stay on- or off-property.
